South India Fish Curry


Method

Fish is either lightly fried with turmeric, red chilli powder and salt or sometimes directly put into the gravy. 

The gravy is made with either whole spices or simply mustard seeds, curry leaves, grated coconut and coconut milk. 

Kokum or tamarind pulp is usually added in place of lemon for the tang. 

The fish is put into it and cooked till done.
